Bunch of Revo Problems
I guess ill start with whats wrong with it:
When I start the revo, it immediately starts moving forward.
The only way for me to completely stop the car is to hold the break, (and keep it held in) or to turn the throttle on the radio down.
My second problem is the revo is bogging down if I hold full throttle at all.
If I pull it in about half way it'll shift, but if I hold it down all the way it immediately bogs down.
This started happening yesterday when we put the integy dual exhaust on.
The first problem however has been there sence about the second stage of break in.
The car runs at a good temperature at all times, and its been fine up untill yesterday with the whole bogging down thing.
Some more information on what weve done to the car:
Recently put the forward only conversion in.
Integy dual exhaust yesterday.
Steel spur/slipper robinson racing gear.
Revo 3.3 engine was put in (Origionally a 2.5r)
Thanks for any help guys.

RE: Bunch of Revo Problems
Man sounds like the clutch has let go, very very common with the revo clutch, get a 3 shoe one, and the top end sounds like its rich, if its bogging down and not instantly stalling, its probably rich , lean top end a touch.
Hope it helps.
The revo clutch is a 2 pin piece of collapsing shishkababs, try a 3 pin one and never worry about it again !

RE: Bunch of Revo Problems
When you change exhaust, you have to re-tune the motor(ditch the inegy pipe, the stock blue one is best, believe that..Team Traxxas runs it on the PE-REVO).For it rolling foreward, turn idle down, maybe also adjust the brake!!!

Another thing I didnt put in there is that when I slow down after doing a top speed run it sounds like it takes the engine a little bit to come back down.
What do you guys make of that?

Beer is probably riight on the money about it being a tad too rich(iwhich initially, is ok, because its obviously better to be a touch on the too rich side of things, then rather be on the too lean side of things. But for better performance, u definately want to lean out the top end in very small increments(about approx. 1/4 to 1/8 turn give or take) and as for the clutch, I happen to agree with him on that too. The stock clutch is known to sometimes "give way" so to speak, after a short amt. of time. depending on how the clutch was made, etc...
