Dragonfly22D to Hornet II upgrades?
Who has put Hornet II parts on the DRagonfly22d, I want to know if people know what fits from firsthand experience.
I'm thinking of doing the tail rack(mine broke), main gear(mines wearing fast), and a set of carbon fiber blades off the hornet for front and rear. I think just as little pieces on mine break I want to replace them with the more high quality Hornet II equivalents. Also, anyone replaced the 370 motor with a better 370? If you have done any upgrades, could you tell us what parts fit or didn't fit. thanks.

I have tried, some say they fit but that not so if you like precision, ends up being more fuss than its worth trying to mate the clone with hornet parts, i was never happy with the 22a to start so proably not the best one to ask but yes they do fit, having sad that i can fit parts of my shocklfyer on there too and they do fit!.
I had to give my 22a away in the end to stop me from thinking it could /would work.
if you start buying hornet 2 parts you will quickly outway the cost of a kit, So maybe best to buy a horne t2 kit and use the clone parts as spares(if you can make them fit).
japan hobby warned me not to put more powerful motor on 22a, i believe them, the brushles motors i run in my h2 would qucikly destroy the 22a dut to the imprecision in the parts, once you go over a certain rmp you will find this out reall quick.

I have to ssay that for my22d I have used sereral parts from Hummingbirds and Picollos . With little mods they all wrk well.
Hummingbird stabilizer bar and blade stiifener wok perfect and have made a big improvement.
I don't believe thta the fit of these parts is that critical....althought they should be close.
I have even flown my heli with one stabilizer bar link while waiting for the new part to come in the mail.
