There hasn't been a lot of posts about this plane lately so I'm guessing everybody is done building and you guys are out there flying it all day. So I was wondering do you like how it flies and will it perform most 3d if not all of it??? And what are you using for an engine?

Very quickly built, I would say 1 1/2 - 2 weeks working on it in the evenings. Then the fun started. It took just as long to cover it. I really really should have covered it BEFORE I attached the wing. I'm not sure if that's standard practice or not being my first profile but it would have made it 10x easier to do.

With a Royal .46 mounted in the center of the mounting rails and the battery in the front of the wing, the plane balanced 2" behind the main spar just for comparison sake.

Jess, Gator and Paul really talked you up at Indy, sounds like you have yours dialed in, where did you mount your motor, half way back or all the way back?

Aka, Paul and Gator are cool cat's. I am glad they fly at our club. The fun factor is always high when we get together.

I modified my engine. I do not recommend doing it the way I did it. You can see the fiberglass reenforcement on the top. You have to do a bunch of work to get a little payoff.

Take your time to get the thrust right. I have no reflex in my ailerons. This ting will hover fine a little forward of recommended cg.
