Default Tip for running servo wires on the OMP 540 EDGE

I have also had a problem running my wires through the fuselage of may GS540 by OMP. And this is what I did. I took kite string and cut off about five feet. Then I tied a knot on one end. Then I layed the fuselage on it’s side. I then took the knot and inserted it into the servo wire guide about 1-2 inches, and coiled up the rest of the five feet on the back of the fuselage. I then took my air compressor, and shot air behind the 1-2 inches of kite string that was placed in the servo wire guide. The string goes right through like butter. All you have to do is tie your servo leads to the string and pull e’m

Don’t worry about blowing the sides out. This just isn’t a problem.

I do recommend that you don’t seal up the servo guide enterance.
just hold your nozzle about a inch away from the kite string that is inserted into the wire guide, then pull the trigger.

Good luck.

Yeah that would work but so does tying a small nut in one end of the string and letting gravity do the work for you. Thats what I did! Is your finished yet? Its a great plane, easy to build, and it flies great!

"When the only tool you have is a hammer, the whole world looks like nails." Being a Spad builder, I just took a long zip tie, stuck it down the channel from inside the wing, and pulled the wires back as I took it out.

But I don't think the major problem is getting the wires through, it's deciding how to extend them.
