Default Monokote Trim Solvent

I have used monokote as a trim color and ultracoat as a base, will the trim solvent work on keeping the monokote on?

Oh, it works great. Sticks fine, but can give eratic results. The stuff disolves the adhesive backing which also contains the color. Leads to eratic color results. Use with caution.

Why dont you just add a little heat, then it won't go anywhere.

Why not use the windex method, then go over the edges with low heat or trim solvent ? Do a search under windex and you'll find plenty of greta info. Professional results that last.....

Thats what i did, except it doesn't seal the edges very well at all. I used some acitone around the edges and it held in place.

Hi scole, I think the TF trim solvent is mostly acetone. You don't need much to seal the edges. If you can see it, its too much.
