Default Mugen springs and shoes.

I just purchased mugen clutch shoes. I want a later hook up than stock, as I can not seem to idle the engine low enough to keep the shoes completely off the CB. What size of spring do you recommend?

1.1 if you want it to hook up later. They are the silver ones.

i use mugen shoes and use 1.0mm springs works well. but revo eater is correct if u want later hook up them 1.1mm springs, the 1.1mm hook up later than the 1.0mm. but still the 1.0mm hook up latertham the stock ones

I went with the 1.0's. I was worried that they would hook up too late because they are soo much stiffer than stock. But they do the job. I think I may end up going with the 1.1's though.

I ran 1.1's on mine for a while. There is not a really big difference, mabey 200 rpm more before they engage. I now run 1.0's because last time I replaced my shoes my lhs was out of the 1.1's. Either way it's a major improvement over the stock clutch.

Well then maybe I won't worry about it. I'll just put that $5 toward my new motor.

That is pretty much the same thing as the LRP 28 spec 3. $10 cheaper though, so I guess the question is which company has better customer service and replacement parts.

1.0s will hook up later than stock. i run 1.0s and they're great, but since my truck finally doesn't wheelie anymore, i might go to the 1.1s.

I thought you didn't like wheelying Why would your truck wheelie and then not? Losing compression?
