Default profile long. axix balance question

I'm building my first profile plane (Sig Ultimate Fun Fly) and since the motor and fuel tank are on the right side of the fuse. I'm wondering...Should I put some weight out on the left wing tip to balance the plane about the longitudinal (roll)axis? If I don't it will tend to roll to the right won't it? (before trimming it). I know I can just trim this out but wouldn't it be better if it balanced both laterally and longitudinally (sp)? Any advice?

You can't just trim it out...When you get to really slow speeds, or when it stalls, the heavy side is going to drop...The heavy side will also fall out in a tight loop.

I haven't balanced my Sledge laterally, but it is pretty close. Most of the servos are on that side along with the battery and receiver.

If everything is on the right side of that thing, I would definitely balance it. It will make a difference...

After you get it in the air, trim it up for straight and level flight. Then roll inverted and see if it drops a wing. If it does, the dropping wing is the heavy one and weight can be added to compensate on the other wing. I wouldn't go in larger than 1/2 ounce increments at a time though because there is a lot of leverage way out at the wing tip. Retrim for level flight and repeat until satisfied.

Thanks. I added 1/4 oz in the left wing tip of the top and bottom wings before covering. I think that will get it close enough that I can move the bat. and reciever around to compensate for the rest. Thanks for the help.
