Since you're building an F Hun model, you should read "Bury Us Upside Down". Great story about the Misty pilots. The pilots who flew Misty had big brass ones!

That is a great book and absolute must read for aviation fanatics. Did not realize that Rutan had been such a hotdog in Vietnam.

Hey Ali, like your an expert builder? C'mon, I've heard that you and me can go neck and neck on a building competition!

Barry, are you planning on flying that sucker to the event? That thing looks HUGE! Can't wait to see it in person, should be awesome!!!!

Scott, this year we'll see how you hold up against Joey! Remember, he did win his class last year, so it should be interesting, no pressure now, ha ha. Can't wait to see the F model in person!

Hey David
Yep your about right, I dont think you and I will ever be competing in team scale together I can build if I have to, I just prefer not to. It gets in the way of the fun part of this hobby......
Barry, that looks like it will be an awesome project. Congrats.
Should be fun to see that in the top gun pattern with those F-100's [>:]

Heres Joey's a few days ago. He's trying to catch me.
Look at that big ball of waste! I was in a bad mood yesterday.
He couldnt wait to sand it and see what it would look like.

Scott - Can you get me some close up of the "landing lights" inside the fuse. We are currently installing them on mine as well. Wish mine was done in flight metal. (We are doing Metal Kote II). Hope to have it completed by Spring. What scheme are you doing on the F model? Are you guys doing drogue chute? Dan Gill made me one and its simply gorgeous!
