I am building a Sig Morrissey Bravo, help
I also am going to be building a Sig Morrissey Bravo and if anyone has a tip or two about this kit, it would be great to know before I place it on the board. I plan to install strobes in the wing tips, but was wondering if any other location other than the tail fin would be appropriate?? Any modifications to the building that you have done would be good to know as well. Mark

bravo
I had a Bravo and flew it for near 5 years.I have a new one now and have 6 flights on it.
It is is almost like scratch building lol. great kit, flies great.
Build it with flaps .They are very effective. My first was powered by A ST3000. The new one is powered by a US 41.
If you have any problems , let me know and I will try to help.

Thanks
I will check into the exrta weight and will give the inside of the glass cowl a little extra layer to start with if that is the case and I have to add. Nothing wrong with a little extra glass up front, it serves two puposes then. I usually glass in the thin lead as well so you can't see it and it adds a little stress relief. Thanks for the info and keep that new one flying so I will have a reference point to go by. Thanks again, Mark
PS: send a picture of your finished paint sceme if you can.

RE: I am building a Sig Morrissey Bravo, help
Flightleader, I don't think the ZDZ will be a good motor for the bravo. I have a US 41 in mine and it came out perfect on the CG. I think you would have to add LOTS of lead weight in the front. If you have any other questions I will try to help. Here are some pictures of mine. Thanks Gerry

I have a G38 in mine. It balanced with no extra weight. The G38 pulls it with authority. I putt around at 1/3 to 1/2 throttle.

Morrissey Bravo balancing problem---HELP.
Could anyone please tell me where it should balance. How far back from the leading edge? The plans where lost. I put the plane together several years ago and I can't remember where the cg is. I have a quadra 35 in it and it is just marginal as an engine. I think I am going to repower. I also sheeted the back of the fuselage. It really does make the model look great but also adds more weight in the wrong place so please help with the balance point. You can also email me at: [email protected]
