Question Timber 110

The manual calls for a 3" double side servo arm for the rudder, however on the rudder assembly page it shows using a 1-1/4 are with pull-pull cables set at 5/8 from center.
Does anyone have any clarification on this? Rudder horns have holes at 3-1/2 and 3' for cables.
How did you do it and/what works best? Building more for STOL/slow flight and mild aerobatics with 60cc RCGS.

Thanks,
Craig
