Basic Revo Questions for a New starter
Hi , I resently go a new Revo and i am new to RC Cars.
I have run it in and its great. I read the guide on the forum for running in which was good. No problems on the run in only 1 stall. I changed the glow plug after as recommended but it seemed fine.
I haven't tuned it yet, by looking and the fuems i guess its running slightly rich as there is a fair bit of exhaust fuems. Its cold here so i guess it may be better to keep it slightly rich. Yes/No??
I have few basic Q's i hope you can help me with.
Maintenance, what is the most important things to keep checking and maintain.
Is there any upgrades that would make the truck noticlibly better to a non expert that a non expert can perform, i read changing the air filter can create 15% more power. Is that true? Anything thing else, any recomendations?
Or should i just keep it standard?
How bad is it to just keep it running until it runs out of fuel as i keep for getting to check until to late?
whats the best thing to clean it with? Should i use pressurised air or can i just hose it down. i've been using it on fields and mud jumps used by BMX riders in the area. I live in the uk and its wet and cold here to the truck is pretty covered..
Is there any other equiptment i need appart from the basic screwdriveres and spanners and bits that come with it?
Sorry i guess this is pretty boring for you all so here is a link to see the car in action. Maybe you experts can tell by the sound of it if there is anything i should do to it.
