Default Revo 3.3 just broken in.

Ok so today I got my revo in the mail and i only ordered it on tuesday night! I was shocked because it said the soonest it would come was not untill friday the 6th. Ok so I start to breat it in and everything is going supper smoothly untill tank 5.....

When I got to tank 5 I was about 1/2 way through when I turned too wide and bumped into a post. I do mean bumped like 2 mph....I broke the damn cantielever rod for the suspention. Ok needless to say 2 hours after a trip to the hobby store I came home with the only ones they had, the traxxas red 102mm ones for $10. Because they seemed to be about 18mm shorter than the stock ones, I put them on the inner most hole to try and make up the lost length?

After that I went back at it, to one of the most easy break-ins I have ever done. Ran tank 6 through it and started to tune it...WOW this thing is pretty nuts for out of the box stock. My old savage I had with the fantom .27 in it that was 10.5 lbs and set up for racing. I thought that thing was set up for the track well......untill NOW. I was a true diehard savage owner untill NOW. This thing I swear feels more controlable than my 1/8 buggy that I had. I've also broken in many big blocks and this thing by far was really easy.

It now has just over a quart of 20% through it and you can tell that its just getting stronger, also the temps where at the highest 250* (after tank 6 ofcorse) then I richened it up a 1/16 of a turn and got it dialed in at 245*F with no hole in the body.

Tomorrow I'm going to the BMX track and before hand I'm putting on the 120mm travel rockers and the stiffer springs. I have no doubt in my mind with those stiffer springs it will pulls wheelies all day long. The p2's and softer springs just soke it up ever so nicely.

Sorry for the long post but I'm one VERY happy revo owner aside for the crappy rod design, Traxxas covers up the weak link with this little red thingy....And this thing!!! Yes thing handles like nothing I have ever felt before. Nothing like a mosther truck, nothing like my race preped savage. This is in a hole nother level when it comes to handeling...[X(][X(][X(][X(]
