My 2.5TMaxx as a classic with .15that has been upgraded to the point that the onlyoriginal part's left intact are the Transmission,Diff's&Center Driveshafts.
That being said i'm lookingstepit upfrom 3.3 power to O.S..21to.25OR Picco .26 Max JL Rre Dot.
Something with wide ratio gearing allRobinson R.steel gear with diff's suited to handel anything.
Will a 3.3TMaxx Transmission/RobinsonR. Gearingbe the soluion and what modifications need to done
to the Tranyto beinstalled to my 2.54mm Traxxas chassie?

<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">The 3.3 tranny will mount directly to the 2.5 chassis. It has 2 different types of braking systems depending on which model. You will need the brake setup and appropriate center shafts.</font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">When shimmed correctly the RRP gears are almost bulletproof.</font></p>

I would try to find the 3.3 with the old style breaking system, same as the 2.5 I believe. To avoid headaches down the road with hardware compatibility.

If your getting the RRP kit for your max you need to buy a revo main output shaft for the transmission to make it fit in the max trans case. Part #5369 I believe. Ihave this kit in my tmaxx + jl red dot and it screams....shifts perfectly, no problems so far.

Just last week i swapped out my 3.3 engine foe a new one.And keep it as a back up after i buy whatever Big Block
I decide to go with but for now I'm going to hunting down atransmission&amp; part's needed to do this.

i have the 2.5 4910 truck, the best thing i did was put forward only trans, have had no issues and its cheap.....good luck

There was i thread i came across a few months ago where a guy did a trans mod where he doubled up on the gears for a BB engine, Ill see if I can find it

Eitherone of those with a foc should hold pretty good. With the picco 26 you may want a robinson first gearset.
