t-maxx with sirio tx-18?
ok i just traded for a t-maxx with a sirio .18 in it, it runs good but it needs tuned does anyone know what the factory settings for the carb are so i can get a decent starting point?also its been juming up and down on the idle. it will go from high idle to low idle, back and forth hi low, hi low, hi low, does this sound like an air leak to you guys? and if it is how would i go about sealing it up correctly, im pretty expierienced just never dealt with an airleak before....lol thanx

Either it has an airleak or its lean on the low speed needle. Richen up the needle a bit to see if it stops. Also do the pinch test and see what it does.

^^ what he said; definately sounds like a airleak to me; especially if its jumping up and down like that on the idle; thats usually(not always but most of the time) a telltale sign that there is a leak somewhere...

Yes, u can do that, but remember, u don't want to use too much of it; especially around the base of the carb; because there is a chance some of it could get sucked in through the throat of the carb if ur not careful. U really only want to use a bead of it thick enough to cover the area around the base of the carb where the o-ring sits.
