i have a DuraTrax Piranha AC/DC Peak Power Charger and in the specs it says it Charges Packs w/Capacities Ranging From 1200 to 2000mAh. well i plan i buy a some bigger batterys. like a 2400 or 3000+? will it charge bigger batterys?

nope. The charger you have is meant only for Nicds and since nicds only go up to maybe 2400mah you can't charge anything higher because they will have to be nimh. I was about to buy this charger until I saw that little writing that says not for nimh

It will charge the 2400's normally. It will charge the 3000 ok, but has a slightly too high of peak threshold, it is for nicads. It also has a time-out feature that will stop at 3000 or 3300 I cannnot remember which.

Yep, it will be comfortable chargeing 2400 nicads.

It will deliver 2400 in 32 minutes
It will deliver 2000 in 27 minutes

5 minutes difference.

i already have 1900 should i just buy some more of those cuz their cheaper? i can just have them charge while i use the others?

I think I would hold off, save money up to make the jump to nimh batts and a nimh charger, and the highest you can go with your charger is 2400 because you are stuck with nicads right now. Your idea to get some 1900's wil work too.
