Default looking to get a onroad car suggestions?

Im not new to rc, have a nitro and an electric both mt's of coarse, but im looking to maybe get a onroad street car to bash or drift with, but dont know what to get, since its seasonal where I live I would only be using it in the summers, I want something durable, and fast, and has tons of hop ups even though I wont be doing that for awhile, it can be either a mini or 1/10 and nothing over like 150 on on a budget lol any suggestions?

get a TT01-R Comes with some essential hopups like aluminum driveshaft and bearings. Its durable, and it has an enclosed diff, as well as shaft drive so you wont have to worry about getting rocks in ur tranny or belts. The car takes a beating and there are tons of upgrades for it. You should be able to get a tt01 R for around 120-130 at tower hobbies or rcmart.

If you don't want to upgrade the machine, I say TT-01. If you think you are going to buy the TT-01 and then upgrade them, I'd recommend you start out w/ TA-05 or TB-02!

Good luck!

You can get a TB-02 for not much more than a TT-01... look around eBay...

Nothing wrong w/ TT-01.. I think they are very good.. just think it would cost more in the long run if you go that route.. But like you said, if you don't want to spend the money up front, then you got to spend it later, right?! ha!

Get a TB-02. You can actually get one cheaper than a TT01. Go here.[link]http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/315320.asp[/link]
The TB-02 has more adjustability out of the box. Plus its overall design is better than the TT-01. The adjustable arms on the TT-01 are not that good. The TB-02 uses turnbuckles. There are plenty of hop ups available for this car as well.

TC4 or TB02, both good cars. I say check your local hobby shop to see what they stock parts for.

I hear ya there. My LHS stocks almost nothing but monster truck items and some micro(not even buggy). There are two in the area, 1 occasionally has a TC4 RTR and maybe a TC5 kit and tires and thats about it. The other one does not stock anything touring car related unless it can be used on MTs.(nitro fuel, some RS4 parts, tools).
I agree with rcluke, the TA05 is a great car, but it does run you a little closer to your max budget. For value, that link to the TB-02 I gave is a great bargain. 79.99 for a new TB-02. If I didn't already have my TA05 I'd probably buy one.
