setting up revo for 1st race (help)
never raced before...looking for help in setting up my revo. its the 5309 model with a picco red dot and a m2c clutch. figured i would set it at the lowest ride height. was wondering about slipper setting, tuning tips, shock preload? i just want to have fun, but would like to compete for the lead too!! thanks
i would describe the track, but havent seen it!

RE: setting up revo for 1st race (help)
i would not set it to the lowest setting...go1 up from there...is there jumps...big jumps...woops...do you have sway bars???preload is on you man we can help but u may or may not like the way we like are revossome say soft some say firm...alot depends on you...as far as ur slipper that kinda depends on the track...if its dry or wet etc...i run mine pretty tight but im also running a spool in the front to pull me thru the corner and help comin off of the turns...what turnbuckles are u running...so many variables to the questions but the only real answer is u set it up so you can drive the way you want to drive...watch the other racers and where there driving and how there driving,,,speed wise...sumtimes slower really is faster

A spoolgoes intothe front or rear diff and locks it so both left and right wheel get the same ammount of power all the time.
