U.S. Engines 35cc or 41cc?
I am looking at purchasing an airplane with a U.S. Engine in it. I do not know a lot about gas since everything I have is glow.
How do I tell which engine this is? I have a 6 digit serial number but could not find a stamp for the size. The serial number is:
004242
Any help would be great, also are these good engines?

RE: U.S. Engines 35cc or 41cc?
Hi:
My bet is that if it is a newer engine that it is a 41cc. I have a couple of US 41 cc engines and they have been reliable performers for years. Not the most powerful one out there but almost bullet proof if you keep them well lubricated...they run forever.
