heading to japan

Default heading to japan

I am going to japan on a few days and I will be staying there for atleast 3 years.
Does anybody know a Hobbyshop close to yokosuka japan? Thanks

Military I take it?

I have some friends over there and they tell me the hobby shops are pretty much in every city as on road is a very big sport. I personally have no idea though, never been there.

i lived in okinawa for a few years

when i was younger, a toy/hobby store called BAM BAM! was pretty cool and had a ton of HPI, Tamiya stuff

and there was another one outside the base, but cant remeber the names

check out a chain hobby/toy store called BAM BAM! i know the name is stupid, but they stock a ton of hobby stuff

there was another store near the base i lived on that was more pro stuff, but i dont even remeber the name.


i was introduced to RC then back in 92 ish as a young kid,grasshopper, black foot, i owned some other stuff. but i know they had HPI at bam bam, but it was to expensive at the time for us.

check it out, im sure the store still exist

Lucky devil. I don't know that area you going to. I went to Japan a few years ago (i'm half japanese and still haven't met much family). You'll love it there. The only part that sucked was the flight.
