Wow, that should be sweet! Keep us posted on this one! How are you going to mount the batts? Velcro? Zip ties?

Motor sticks out quite a bit though.. Could get dinged up by debris [&:]

Ya i plan on making a motor protector. I really hope this thing doesnt wheelie because 60mph + wheelie= disaster.

Seeing as to how aerodynamics are crucial to high speed stability, what body do you plan on using with that?

IDK yet... Maybe the TC body I have right now which is the protoform dodge stratus carpet edition which is a vey nice and sturdy body and it drops right onto the chassis.

WOW. good luck with this. I really think that it will wheelie like crazy because you have a fiegao 8xl and also the fact of how small your tires are.

You going to use a reciever pack and take out the red wire because of the twelve cells?

He has to if he likes that reciever at all..

I think you should fit it with a kinda of custom wheelie bar thats really low to the floor to try to keep it on all 4's off the line. Similar to how they do in drag racing if you know what i mean.

something like :

That's for a real car, but you get the idea.

doesn't a fieago 8xl seem kind of low on the rpms? thats only like a 30,000rpm motor on twelve cells. i don't think you could get tall enough gears

Just forget it the main purpose of the thread was to prove I could convert it and do such a thing and that mission was accomplished.
