Default Ziroli Ercoupe power requirement

I just picked up this Ercoupe ,it's uncovered and ready for
final assembly and finishing.

I know that there must be many of these Ziroli Ercoupe models flying
around the country somewhere, and I hope that some of those flyiers
respond to this question.

What would be a "reasonable" 4 stroke engine size recommendation
for this aircraft ? I'm gussing that a good 1.20 would do it but I want to
be sure.

Thanks to those who respond.

Regards,
Roby

overpower the $%# out of it and make it stand on it's tail. 40cc Gas. While you're at it, add a smoke system.

Now for a serious answer; this airplane is designed for a G23 I think...in which case a 1.20 4C would be great. I was thinking about an OS 160 4C for mine.
