i droped in a titan 775 in my maxx!!
as much power as two 550's
and as much run time .little big though not as much pinion choices because the moter is so big it hits the trans
you have to dremel out the mounting holes!!!
others have been using the dewalt motor out of a 12v drill ,it is as big as the 775 though so the same story
with the dremel. if you want to spend more thatn them two .the 700 ho kit from kershaw designs has mostly gotten good reveiws.
its about 80 dollars though but it comes with the motors and the motor plate so just bolt it to your trans.
the titan 775 goes for about 35,the dewalt goes somewhere between 25 and 30 . they say the dewalt one is hard to kill
the titan and the dewalt WILL REQUIRE a 5mm pinion to ,where as the kershaw come with pinions .

There's no reason not to go brushless/lipo anymore. Check out hobbycity.com if you don't believe me.

i have seen the Kershaw motor reviews, not too bad i hear. and ive also read about the titan 775. both pretty cool. and then i just said the hell with it and i think ill go brushless with the Mamba Monster 2200k. does the mamba motor bolt right on the stock motor mount? same with the new ESC, does that bolt in where the old one was? thanks for all the help!!
