Schumo spare track holder question

Schumo spare track holder question
Hi,
I have a Schumo spare track holder kit for a Tamiya Tiger I, 1/16 RC.
I’m wondering if anyone else has done this same application and been able to still open the turret roof?
I’m thinking of CA glueing track links to the upper Schumo holders and then dropping the links and upper clip combo onto the bottom pin holders.
And then not glueing anything else, so that spare tracks can removed when inside turret access is required.
upper holder clip pins will drop into turret roof drilled holes.

Hello,
if you do it correctly and follow the instructions, you can remove the tower roof without any problems.
Take a look at my report, pictures will certainly help you.

Thanks very much Guido.
Your photos help, especially how you cut in between the drill holes of the template for turret roof drill holes.
question:
how do the track links stay in place then? Just by the bottom support holder and weight of top holder over top of links?
thanks again for your help, much appreciated

Good morning,
the tracks links are held in the lower part, the upper component only provides support and prevents them from jumping out.
I would say that you should just give it a try, your own experience is the most valuable.
