I need new LIPOs. What kind to get
I'm in need of more LIPOs for my BCX2. What do you all recommend and where should I get them. I only have the stock charger.

I've had the best luck with the stock EFlite packs. I've tried the DN Power, they have more power, are a little cheaper, but don't seem to last as long.

I just logged on to make the same post, for the cp pro however. I see some tower hobbies 12c 910mAh 11.1V lipo for 24 each. Anybody know, when another brand says it has a "balance charge connector" does that mean it will fit into the eflite charger? is that a standard connector?

I had a couple of the Mega Power 3s 15C 2100mAh LiPo's for my TREX 450, and they didn't last very long either. From my experience, the best brand is Thunder Power....
and recently, I've got some Lightning Power, Kong Power, and Air Thunder packs and so far have been very impressed with them. I've got about 5 cycles on them so far.
as far as the connectors, there are 2 main type, the Thunder Power and the Eflite/Align... however with the the EFlite/Align connectors you have to becareful of the polarity some companies have reversed polarities. In any case there are adapters made to change between each type of connector.

For a stock fit for the CX2, your only real option is the DN Power packs. I own 2 of the 15C 850 mAH packs and I have been happy with them so far.

I have the DN 900mah/10C packs and they are giving me excellent service. The DN packs are slightly lighter than the stock E-flite, they are slightly more narrow, and shorter. They are very slightly thicker. I get just a little more run time with the DN's then I do with the stock batteries.
If you DON'T need more power go with more "mah" and worry less about the "C" rating. If you wan't more "punch" give priority to the "C" number. High "mah", and high "C" would be the best of both worlds[8D]
Most that have upgraded to the Xtreme motors claim they need a high "C" battery to fully appreciate the extra power available. I find the 10C DN's are excellent inside the house batteries with stock motors.
Boomtown Hobbies for good prices, and super fast shipping!

Those 10C 900 mAH packs will allow you to fly a little longer, but will not give you the exrta power of a 15 - 18C pack. Always go for the best of both worlds! [8D]

I have 2 DNs and two old old stocks. The stocks still work (only a 5 min flight, might need the LED balance trick) and one DN is getting puffy. I only charge that one in a cooking pot while I am around. It is fun to squeeze, like bubble wrap. Both DNs have about 100 flights on them and they have not been drained below 7.4v.
For the price I can't complain. The stocks are better quality though, less power too.

I have DN's and love them. Same as Bry 850mAh 15C, have over 60 cylces on two them and the only problem I seem to have is one goes out of balance quite often. With the stock Eflite charger it can be a bear to get balanced again.

stup3r,
If you have a decent charger / balaner combo, you don't have to worry about this. I have a Triton Jr charger and and Equinox balancer and have never had any problems.
I know that you do, just pointing out that you can expect miracles from a stock changer.
