Default Breather pipe

We all pay alot of emphasis on tuning and does the quality of the fuel in the tank change when it is contaminated by the oil passed into it from the exhaust via the breather pipe. If you look at the colour of the fuel in the tank before you start the engine and then look at the colour of the fuel after it has had a decent run, depending on how well you have tuned it, if its slightly rich would excess oil then pass into the fuel tank and then onto the carb. If it does have a marginal affect is it worth fitting a filter to the breather pipe.

Default RE: Breather pipe

puting a filter will greatly reduce the preassure. if your engine is properly tuned, you shoudnt have to worry about oil getting into the fuel tank. i'd say dont put a filter.
