I'm building a bigger Quaker, 192" span, and I need to find a way to make or buy wheels and tires that look like trexler. I was going to make my own hardwood wheels and use gocart inner tubes, has anyone tried that?

Last month I traded for a 42% 180" Cub. It came with 6" smooth
tires with plastic hubs which is way out of scale. I've searched
trying to find 10 or 11" ribbed tires but guess I'll have to go the
inner tube route also. All-up weight it is at 51 lbs. , so I have to be
careful to stay below the 55# exempt limit.

The cub would look funny with the ballon type tires, have you thought about making your own foam tires? Having the hub from the 6" ones you can use them and just make the tire part....The quaker on the other hand would look funny with the foamies so I'm trying to figure out big ballons...
