Re-using old rims
I am wondering if anyone knows how to removing glued on tires from rims. I have about 40 rims with old tires on them and wish I could re-use them. If anyone has something to try I would appreciate it.

acetone.. get a gallon of acetone and soak them for a few hours. it dissolves the glue and the tires come off. be forwarned.. warning!! Acteone is flamable and it can melt certain types of plastics and sometimes harden some tires.
I use this on some stock maxx rims and a bunch of times on my Kyosho landmax 2 rims to reuse the rims.

I've tried acetone but I find it takes too long. Easiest way is to just put them in a big pot of boiling water for 20min. Then you can pull the tires off the rim easily. This way always works for me.
