Anybody help me with this one as i am not the most computer literate person in the world Its just that im in the market for new radio gear and just cant decide which one to go for I fly planes but hope to in the future have a dabble with Helis Any help would be much appreciated

It doesnt really matter. Anyone that tells you "radio x is easier" is just used to that make.
Pick whichever one fits your hands the best, has the features you need and is in the price range you can afford.
As an instructor I have to play with a variety of radios, I've yet to find one I couldnt figure out after having detailed experience with one of them. (I happen to fly a Futaba 9c)
EDIT: If you have helicopter aspirations get the helicopter version of whatever radio you buy, it will be easier for you later on.

I've never messed with JR as far as programming goes. I have a Futaba 9 Cap the instructions were a bit over whelming at the time, but once shown wasn't bad. Like I said I have never programmed JR but I have heard the instructions were a bit more user friendly.
Would I trade my 9 Cap for JR.. no I like my 9
