Default i have decided

i was going to get a new truck was looking at the mammoth st. not a bad price $350. then i thought crap gotta get another rx @ $45 and a batt. pack @ $25. so after reading REVOFAMILY screaming tm323 this and that and trying my hardest to keep a big block out of the revo. which i think would make it run like a sqirrel in heat. was looking at my toys and that poor tmaxx looking so sad. gotta see it i only run it when im waiting for parts. so the stock .15 trx engine has seen its dayz. so i figure why not just do a transplant move the trx2.5r to the tmaxx (conversion kit only $25) and get me one of them tm323 and another motorsaver filter for the brand new engine.

now to convince the wife that this would be a good b-day present. but hey this way i will save a $100 shhhhh quiet gotta sneak the new gears in there some how. what did you say ran the fastest and the best revofamily?

It's all your fault revofamily

Default RE: i have decided

LOL... I love the engine... it is awesome. The gearing I'm running now is a simple 16/36 with FOC.... With that gearing setup I have only run it on the pavement a little bit... and on a track. I have yet to run it anywhere else (like up and down my street or anything) It seems to put the power to the ground without losing all of it in a flip-over. The video on my website (www.renegaderevo.com/Videos/firstvid.wmv) has a 15/36 with FOC... and tuned a bit rich... if that gives you ANY idea. At the track, it's still a bit hard to get it to grip, but I think with some better tires, I wouldn't have that problem.

By the way, you make your own choice, all I know is FOR ME... the TM323 makes the most sense (for bashing purposes). It is a direct drop-in, has some AWESOME HP/TQ... and comes with a mount/header/pipe... for $238 shipped. It's the best bang for the buck.
