LiPo Sacks
I mentioned these in another thread, but I wanted to ask about them in their own.
I have a "LiPo Sack" from [link=http://www.liposack.com]www.liposack.com[/link] which I bought at the local hobby store for $30 or so. This is a Kevlar bag with a strong Velcro closing which is used to contain a LiPo charging mishap. According to the instructions, you still have to place the bag on a non-flammable surface for safety, of course, but from a marketing picture I've seen, it appears the LiPo Sack will do a good job of containing an explosion. It's giving me some piece of mind during charging for sure.
I was just wondering if anyone else has one of these and/or whether anyone had heard anything about them, good or bad. Mine's been fine and easy to use so far, but (knock on wood) I haven't had any charging mishaps, so I can't report on how well it does its real job.

RE: LiPo Sacks
Thanks for that info. I have seen a lipo explosion video before but not one that dramatic! [X(] I have also seen images of someone's garage totally destroyed because of a Lipo fire. I'm going to have to get one of those soon.

RE: LiPo Sacks
Sky, assuming you're talking about the [link=http://www.liposack.com/LipoSackv.wmv]test video[/link] on the LiPo Sack site, I have to agree: Very impressive (not to mention scary)!
(I had to download [right-click, "save target as"] that video to get it to work...probably my ancient Win98 box's fault.)
