li-po upgrade question
i just got the hobbico mkII field charger ---- what battery can i hook it up to? a car battery? i know nothing about field chargers...is there a type of battery i can get at somewhere like home depot that will do??

Here's the deal. All you need is some sort of a 12VDC power source. You can use the power converter from a laptop, an old power supply for a PC a 12V battery of either a vehicle or hobby grade. You have many options just make sure if you use anything other than a battery you don't get the polarity reversed. The MKII has a polarity safety built in for the output charge but I don't think it works for the input. AND DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES splice a chord coming straight out a wall outlet. The forementioned items will all convert from AC to DC with the exception of the batteries, they of course as you know are already DC.
