Finding Zero Incidence on CA 3.3m Yak
Alright, well everyone seems to agree that 2 degrees right thrust and 1/2 a degree of down thrust are the magic setup, let me know if you feel different. I have a ZDZ 210 with a 3-bladed prop. Anyway, how do you find what zero incidence is in the first place? The wing and stab are not perfectly inline to my knowledge, they are just close, and I know the firewall could be pointing anywhere now. So how do you find 0 degrees to refer these thrust and incidence figures from?

RE: Finding Zero Incidence on CA 3.3m Yak
Jonathan,
I am running a DA150 and had to take out some of the right thrust and put in a little down. I used a 1/16" shim for both and it has worked out nearly perfect. Also, I emailed Andreas about finding Zero thrust for the wing incidence and he bascially told me there is no way to set "0" and to just put the adjusters in the middle and make changes from there. Feel free to email if I can help you with anything.
