TME smoke pump problem
I have a smoker II pump and have it plugged into my retract channel..The problem is that when I turn my RX on, the pump does not turn on.. meaning its not getting any power from the battery.(Ihave a separate pack for the pump) If I turn the RX off and on several times the pump turns on..Once its on I can turn it off and on with my transmitter with no problems but once I shut the plane off I cant get the pump to turn back on without having to cycle the plane..Any Ideas???

RE: TME smoke pump problem
Redrum,
I too have it plugged into the LG channel. I set up my plane to have a seperate switch/charging jack for the smoke pump battery. You do have a seperate battery for the smoke pump right? I have never had a problem and I do not need to take the plane (CG Ulty) apart to charge the batt. Check to see if you have any mixes on also.

RE: TME smoke pump problem
I'm not sure but I think the pump has a 10 or more second delay before it will power up after the Tx and Rx is turned on. Keeps the pump from flooding the muffler in case you inadvertenly have the pump switch turned on. Check the paper work with the pump. I know a Skywriter does that. Not sure about a TME.
