Default LRP GT-3 Turbo motor 10T

Hey guys, so I recently installed the LRP GT-3 Turbo motor 10Tx2 in my TT-01 and gees she's quick. I was previously running a Tamiya Super Stock RZ motor.

The top speed is awesome, doesn't seem to have as much punch though. And the run time is down to about 5 minutes. I was getting around 15 minutes with the RZ motor (when using a Venom 4200 6-cell).

As the battery came to the end of its run time and the car started to slow, I noticed a burning smell coming from the motor. It was damn hot (too hot to touch) and I think I saw a small puff of smoke. Anyway I discontinued use and let it cool.

I don't know whether Im going to put the RZ motor back in (as I prefer having longer run times) or just keep the LRP motor in and just make sure people are watching when I use it haha.

Has or is anyone using one of these motors?

Here's some pictures of my pride and joy.
