Has any one had luck with shoe goo ?

For mounting gas 1/8 off road scale buggy tires ?

Asking to try to find someting outher than super glue /
so I don.t rip up tires taking off rims .
Im' in the process now boiling some old bowties and they have some life but.... I.m STILL ripping them. AFTER 1/2 HOUR BOILING ......... !%!#$%

Anything else out there that you have had good luck with ..
good holding power ???

And be able to remove later ?

Stick with the CA glue, shoe goo isn't the answer. Instead of boiling the wheels, put some foil on a cookie sheet, preheat the oven to 350. Once the oven is at 350, put the wheels on the cookie sheet, SHUT OFF THE OVEN, and put the cookie sheet in the oven. Leave them in for 15 minutes. As the oven cools, the glue will crystalize and the tires come off with very little effort.

Have you ever used losi tapers on 1/8 gas buggy rims ?
Some guys that I have,t got ahold of yet use them to race
They all use pink to race with ,and claim there the best on hard pack dirt ,,,
Trying to get the scoop on how to do it ! ??
They have to cut them down some how ??? What foams to use ?
I also have the old kyosho rims I don't know if they are same as new Or if it matters //
