Instructions for JMP pressure tap
#2
JMP pressure vent
Mitchell heres what the directions say
1. Drill a 1/4" hole in the fan shroud exactly in between two stator
vane holes. The distance from the front edge of the shroud is
1-11/16"
2. Between the 2nd and 3rd or the 15th and 16th stators is the
desired location due to the flat mounting surface.
3. Point the pressure vent forward and screw on the mounting nut and washer but do not tighten . Use 242 Lockite during assembly.
4. Install the fan rotor. Using a #33 drill , pass through the stagger of the rotor blades and into the pressure vent for the proper angle. This will turn the pressure vent slghtly into the air flow created by the rotor blades for maximum pressure.
5. Mount the right angle fuel fitting and jamb nut using 242 Locktite and toward the fuel tank vents.
