fuel filter
I have a moderate to heavy leak on my fuel filter guys. Is their any type of filter I could pick up locally that would work? Could I use a sullivan crap trap? BTW my leaky filter is a canister type about 1" long and 5/8" in diameter.
Thanks! Pete

RE: fuel filter
the crap trap is too course a mesh, the filter is mostly to catch the particles off the fuel pump as it wears to prevent them entering the fuel solenoid. if you can find a paper type filter at your local car parts place with the right size for your application they'll work just fine.

RE: fuel filter
I've used the Dubro Final filter on several of my turbines. I works well and most hobby shops stock them. The 4 mm. line is a tight fit over the nipple so you might have to work at it a bit.
