Im actually planning on gettin a E-Maxx. i just need to sell my evader.

im tryin to sell this so i can get a new truck. i dont have too much money and i cant afford to maintain 2 cars. so when i get rid of that here comes the new E MAXX the most exspensive thing ive ever bought.

I already have a gallon of Nitro. Considering I just received a new charger today, some hop-ups yesterday, a couple of new Zs last week, and ordered two more Zs a couple of days ago, I think the only thing I will buy is a new brushless motor. However, I may check out a custom built crawler if the builder and me can get together. Then again, it is a long weekend.

JT racing makes some sweet stuff out of 7076 ALum- I plan on getting steering blocks, caster blocks, hub carriers, and some new wheels for my tc3 rally...

i think that when we all get the stuff we listed, a week later we should go back into our posts in this thread and do a short review of what we bought. im sick of reading the same reviews every time im looking for more opinions[:@]

I think he meant purchase "Nitro Fuel" so he could race or at least that is what I though he meant.

he meant nitro as in fuel...

You electric guys dont need to wory about fuel, you just charge up...then need to wait again for it to charge up while us nitro guys can gas up and go.[sm=punching.gif]

Iam going to drive 6 hours each way to trade off my flight gear for a nice hyper 7 pro setup, then off to the LHS to fill in all the gaps. thank god I have monday off to play or I would have to call in sick.

What did you get rid of? I just purchased the Real Flight RC Simulator G2 tonight. Do I hear Helicopter?

Edit: I also ordered the 8000kv brushless motor too.

I got rid of a futaba super 8U, hanger 9 easy 40 with o.s. .46 and flight gear, and i also tosses in a second controller for a buddy box set up and my real flight stuff (the older model) I am trading for his hyper 7 pro and a LOT of extra stuff from when he raced it. all of this stuff was new. I jsut found that I like racing cars over flying and it was wither do both 1/2 ***ed or go head in on one. in the past 2 months I get oa mini t and hopped it up, then a stampeed for the yard, and hopped it up, I then got a tc3 and am working on hopping it up. I also dug out of the attic my old RC10gt and am working on rebuilting it. A friend of mine jsut quit his job to open a hobby store, but the best part is that he is putting in 2 indoor tracks, one dirt that will allow nitro and one carpet for touring cars.

Default RE: so, what do YOU plan on buying in the next week or so?

Since I own over 30 RC cars ranging in size from 1/4 scale down to around 1/24 scale, I thought a heli might be a nice change. I tried the simulator last night for the first time for around 2 hours after the initial install. Mostly trial and error, but I did learn very quickly how much easier one heli was to control over another right off the bat. Then I turned on the virtual instructor.

Unfortunately, I'll probably need to purchase at least one of the ad-ons if not two of them since the helis I'm considering at the moment are not in the main software package. I'd bet that was marketing's idea to split them up. I was thinking about Kyosho or Raptor anyway. I've been looking at JR, Futaba, and Airtronics radios.

By the way, one of my friends just opened a hobby shop too, but it is in California. Major competition in his area though. From what I've read on RCU and if I recall correctly, there is not much in Colorado and I also seem to recall a post months ago about how there were no tracks in Littleton or at least nothing that suits 1/18th scale. Is your friend using ozite for the touring cars? 1/10 and 1/12th scales? They used to have a couple of indoor nitro tracks here--It didn't have near the ventilation system it should have had and the owner still talks about it before it laid down both an ozite track and RCP Track.

the number of tracks is picking up around here. 2 outdoor dirt tracks opend this summer, so his will be the 3 set of new tracks. most of the LHS have started putting up outdoor touring tracks on the weekend and holding small races, so all in all it is on the rise out here. I ma not sure how is if doing all of the indoor stuff, but I know that anyting that he dose is top notch so he will do it right. there is not a 1/8 track yet so we are running on the 1/10 tracks, but there is some talk about makeing a few next season.
