Default To wing it or Not to wing it......That is the question.

I have noticed in alot of pics and videos that people have wings on thier Revos. Is this recommended?
I was thinking of getting one to help protect my engine from rollovers.

I'd say get a wing because it gives the Revo that racer appearance in addition to protecting the engine and other rear components of the truck.

Yeah just about everyone has a wing on the Revo, keeps it from flipping up-side down (especially when a BB is in it)
Plus it doubles as a carrying handle!

depends if you are going to run a heavy upgraded aluminum truck or a lightweight racing truck
for racing the wing is a must but for bashing the wing can be shattered in a few hard landings

Yea i would say get a wing. It also works really good as a wheelly bar. I bash the hell out of my E Revo and never broke a wing, i have a proline, ofna, and a (hellfire wing) Which is really flimsy so i would stay away from them. But the other 2 are very stong. also for the mount. The teckno isnt the best; kinda half *****ed put togather/ made. The traxxas mount looks much better. I dont have hands on knowlage but it deff looks better crafted.

Wing it. Good protection for the engine heat sink as well as a good Marshalls Handle.

Thanks fellas,

I went out with a friend to introduce him to RC Nitro and he is now thinking of getting a Truggy(Losi 8ight T to be specific)
I hope he doesn't run me over with it!!!![&:]

Anyway, while I was out I purchased a Teckno wing mount and a white proline wing.
