why car seems to jerk on accel?
I aam tryin to figure why my rc cars go through almost a jerk or slow down when I accel. The ESC's are castle, and I changed radios as well. Is it the connection to esc that I soldered?
I use lipo batterys both 2s and 3s.
Its almost if the car gets a jolt of energy then slows down...I am guessing this has happened to someone else.

It's the punch settings. My Savage flux (has a mamba max pro in it) does it too, I've learned to live with it (I'm using a Futaba 3pk with a spektrum pro module, so it's definitely not the radio in my case).

RE: why car seems to jerk on accel?
Castle has thier own programmable brake settings. Check what you see is current, and adjust from there. The default setting on the older software did have a "jerk" but it never sent my car sailing in one direction or the other. Yeah - it's annoying, but if you change your brake settings, then that will all go away.
IMHO the brake setting should still be changed to what is good for you, as every update resets all my escs back to default - whenever I upgrade the esc's firmware.
