picolo fun pinion gear
Does anyone else have problems with keeping their picolo fun pinion gear on the main motor?
In less than five minutes of running it the 9 tooth pinion gear completely stripped so that it would just spin on the motor's shaft. Then i tried the 10 tooth gear and it slid off. Does everyone just buy aftermarket pinion gears for these heli's?

RE: picolo fun pinion gear
This does happen to some Piccolos. A drop of CA on the end of the shaft usually fixes this. Be very careful not to let the CA run dwon into the motor.
However, if the shaft has done a lot of spinning in the pinion, it might have removed materian from the pinion, preventing the pinion from working properly. You will need to replace it. You can get aftermarket metal pinins that have a set screw on them. You might need to sand down the splines on the motor shafr a bit to get them to fit on.
