RE: DLE fuel can where ?
Really neat, but then it looks a little like one of those old style blasting controllers. Push down on the plunger and kabooom, there goes your model.
Seriously though, it looks very well made, and very safe[8D]

RE: DLE fuel can where ?
Looks like the pump can I had a few years ago.............My pump moved about 1/2oz fuel for ever pump........the great thing is if you would put can higher than the tank you were filling, it would gravity feed, or siphon the gas out when you lowered it below the tank and pumped a few times.........the seal was the weak point replaced it several times. Finally gave up on the seals...........this one looks to be made way better.... mine was all plastic.

RE: DLE fuel can where ?
I emailed DLE about it asking if it were available in the USA yet and the response I got:
"Hello,
Yes, they did purchased it from us few weeks ago, they should have few in stock now."
I'm not sure "they" are but someone in the US has them for sale or at least in their inventory.

Looks nice as do some of those other $100.00 plus set-ups, but not for me. At least not until I have more money than I know what to do with !
For now I'll continue to use my $15.00 hand crank pump chained onto my $12.00 red plastic jug with a few dollars of fuel line ,fittings and filters !

I see more of the $150+ fuel jugs at giant scale outings as they pump in a lot more fuel than our typical .40 sized 10 oz. tanks....and especially if they have smoke!

That one has the Miracle pump. I have one and it failed after no more than 20 tanks of fueling. I leaked from the seal bottom seal in the pump, under the pump "gears".
I saw a pump I now have interest in on the site but I need to do some searching to find it again. I may have to give up on the Miracle.

RE: DLE fuel can where ?
Yeah, I like that pump just because I like the look of machined aluminum. But as others have mentioned, I can't see paying 1, 2, 300 bucks for gassing up my airplane.
I did buy a "made for gas" pump like the one shown below on the left. 50 bucks. It only lasted a short time then wouldn't pump unless you primed it by blowing into the vent line. I took it apart, cleaned and re-sealed it, and it worked for a little bit more, then quit pumping altogether. Waste of money.
Then I started using the pump shown on the right. I just removed the switch it has, soldered the wires together and insulated them with heat shrink, and then sealed the pump case so no fuel or vapors could get in and be exposed to motor sparks. I use the reversing switch on my flight box to fuel or de-fuel. It has been working perfectly for a couple of years now with no problems. About 15 bucks for the pump, a discarded metal can with fittings added to the cap, and done deal. And yep, I painted the can red....

I have the black one also, Sig gas passer, it works great and will pump 3/4 gal a minute, but they give you restricters for smaller tanks . 2 years of service and no issues. 2 gal can and some fittings all total about $65
