I have an A&M 2.0 built back in '93 just before A&M sold out. It has electronic ignition and the single bolt 3/8" prop shaft. I have no experience with gas engines (20 years of glow) so I have no way of making an accurate comparison between them. Also, I don't have any of the specs for this engine.
I purchased it to go with a Glens Models SUKHOI SU 26 quarter scale which I am about to finish up (11 years later!!)...I'm beginning to doubt if this is going to be enough engine to give me the performance I would want as I believe the SUKHOI will dress out around 15-16 LBS.
Can one of you out there please help me with this engine in terms of it's relative value and appropriate application including prop size, and rpm.
Thanks,
Col B
