What is a good motor ESC combo for my TLR SCT 22 2.0
I race my short course truck at our local medium to high bite carpet track I run a 17.5 currently in my truck I just don't have enough power most of the other guys run 13.5 turns so I'm looking to get a 13.5 esc motor combo but don't know what to get any suggestions?

Ask around the pits and see what others are using, or go with your favorite brand. What's that? You don't have a favorite brand? Well then, maybe check out the Redline Gen3 13.5T motor coupled with a RSGen2 ESC from Tekin. Just sayin'.

Me personally if your looking for some good around speed top end for running a track i use a traxxas vxl system give me egde and lots of power!!! And the mamba max system is another system but lots more power!!! If it was me i stick with a traxxas vxl system myself. And you can pick up a whole system of Ebay for just over a $ 100.00 new if you shop around R C Superstore is a traxxas dealer so the the warrenty is backed by traxxas etc but its up to you and what your happy with and what scale your running!!!

Ok thanks for the help I'm not sure what I'm going to buy I was thinking about 13.5 Tekin combo but I really don't know if I should spend that much money but my only problem is I run in the Pro Class at my local track and all the guys run expensive motors and ESC so I feel like if I don't get something good I'll continue being in the back of the pack and I think my driving skills are good enough along with the right set up in my truck I'll be able to hang with them but I also know with more speed you compromise consistency so I need to find that fine line with speed in my lap time but still be consistent but thanks for your comments
