The rear wheels are pointed inward when looking straight down on them. I understand the camber adjustment, but this is different. It's worse on the left wheel than it is on the right. I don't see any way to adjust it and the book doesn't mention it. Am I missing something here?

i beleive they are supposed to be like that, maybe the one that is toe'd in more is a little off, but they are supposed to be toed in like that

I'm a real no0b so I could be wrong, but the way the book reads the toe-in is for the front tires and steering stability. It doesn't mention the rear wheels in the toe-in section.

THATS A JATO RIGHT?  my jato rear wheels were just like that, the one looks a little to much but even my tmaxx rear wheels are toed inwards

<div>toe in on the rear is normal.  all off road RC vehicles are like that (hell even on road vehicles are like that).  some are adjustable, your's is not.  im looking at it and im guessing that its about the usual 3 degree's of toe in.  just leave it alone, its fine, its supposed to be like that. trying to fix it is only going to cause problems.  <div>as far as why one looks like it has more toe than the other.  its optical illusion do to chassis lay out</div></div>

It's a Nitro Rustler. And alot of vehicles have some toe-in on the rear to provide straighter take-off under hard acceleration. And yes, it's more than likely an optical illusion.

Nitro Sport is correct. Thanks for the replies. It drives well enough other than a crappy front servo that I just replaced. damn EZ start stopped heating though and I can't test the darn thing [:@]

Just use one of the internets search engines and look into the benifits of rear toe-in. Trust me, you dont WANT em straight!

Most off road cars and trucks come with 2 to 3 degrees of rear toe in. The reason for it is the same as front toe in, stability and drivability.
It can be a useful tool when adjusting handeling. Rear toe will effect the way a car or truck handles exiting a turn. More toe in, less stearing or in technical terms, more push.
Obivously, less toe makes for a looser handling car.
For my dirt oval truck, I went with 0 rear toe to get it to exit corners with a little bit of loosness and the ability to soften the right rear for forward drive off the corners.
