Just bought my son the e-stampede. i have the n-rustler and have been very pleased with it but this stampede is depressing. The thing wants to take off out of the blue. suddenly turns left or right. not pleased with the radio system. should i try a new set of crystals to make sure it's not interference or is this a known problem and the answer is already out there?

Ok, well either the batteries aren't good in the transmitter, or the electronics on the truck are fried. You may get better luck with this question in the electric car forum.

cubmaster get both ur sons remote and urs. Look at the crystal on the back and tell me which color each of them are.

he's channel 2 and i'm 5. red and green.

My brother brand new Stampede does something like that too. The motor will cut on and off if you floor it while turning from a standstill. And it also twichtes when the Diffrential lets one wheel loose.

sounds to me like a faulty remote or reciever box. Try switching remotes and crystal.

Switched the crystals and that wasn't the problem. I'm takin the truck to the shop where it came from and let him have a look see . I personally think it's the controller. we'll see. Thanks all.
