Default Traxxas Stampede 4X4 VXL Rear Axle problems?

I just bought a used Stampede VXL it was not abused by the previous owner, he had changed front and rear axles to steel. I broke both rear axles the first day, changed them out to the factory axles and broke those just running around in my yard. I bought two replacements at my local hobby shop, the guy at the shop said he has the same problem with his Stampede and that it was due to the torque of the vehicle. So far the replacements are holding up, what do you guys recommend I do to solve this problem if there is a solution? Thanks

The only real solution is aftermarket axles and they only come as a cvd kit that also replaces the plastic axles with metal. MIP, Tekno, FLM are the probably the best ones out there.

I had a Slash 4x4 and had the same issues with the rear stub axles, but I'd only bend mine. I tried a few different Traxxas stub axles (including the supposedly improved Traxxas axle) with no improvement in durability. I sold it before trying any of the cvd kits.
