So I bought this engine. . .
So over in the market place I bought a Surpass E. Look what gets shipped! It has never seen fuel.
Am I right that this is a Surpass 1 ? How long ago were they made?
So of the two nipples on the pump, what goes where?

Looks like a FS 120S II version, 1990 You should be able to dig up the manual there.
Looks like you should have a inlet and return line, being's it's pumped. They should be marked, F and R or I and R
It will be a three line tank, fuel, return, vent.

Here is a picture from the OS manual for the Surpass II:

If your engine has a large screw in the center of the disc where the fuel nipples are located, on the rear of the engine, you have a Surpass I. From what I can see in your photo, I think you have the Surpass II.
