Hello!
I bought a GMS.120 and a Bisson Webra 1.20 Muffler to put in my CG Ultimate to replace my old ASP .91...
I did not install yet but i want to know here if someone made this installation before and the results...."the weight-power relation", "break-in", "unlimmited vertical", "knife-edge" "torque-roll" "the best prop to use in GMS 120 for the Ultimate" and etc...
can somebody help me?...
ps. sorry about the english, im improving it already!
best regards
DanieL

Can't answer your plane/engine match question, however...
Your English is already better than many here. No apologies needed.

A friend has a GMS 1.20 in a Funtana 90 and is using an APC 17x6, or the new 17x4W. There was a guy with an Ultimate here on RCU, w/ a Webra 1.20 and I believe he uses a 15x6-10 wood prop. For your application, I'd say the 17x6 should be a good choice...

RE: GMS 1.20 spinning in a CG Ultimate??
I have a GMS 1.20/Bisson muffler on a 12 pound GP G202. It will pull out of a hover but not rapidly. The engine is not pumped and draws fuel very well with no problems. The break-in was like any other ringed engine, not a real problem. Your vertical, torque-roll, knife-edge, Etc. will depend more on the plane, the weight of your plane and your ability than the on the engine. I find the APC 17-6 prop to be the best all-around prop for this engine. With this prop the engine pulls about 14 pounds static thrust on a spring scale (calibrated).
Good luck with your new engine Daniel and let us know how it works out........ RJ

I have a Goldberg Ultimate with a Webra Speed 1.20 and Perry pump. GMS is very close to this config...
This combo is outstanding. You will have unlimited vert and hover at 1/2 or less. You do have to watch for flutter. I am pulling 17 lbs at sea level with a 16X8.
