Default Need Mark 180 gas info

I am considering a Mark 180 gas engine for an 80" fun fly and would like to hear from anyone who has experience with this engine i.e. performance, gas oil mixture ratio recommended etc. Thanks.

I would think that it would work wonderfull...

You get a REAL Walbro carb (not like that one used on the saito 1.25 gas)
and it would run like a top...

80" fun fly? You will need 50cc if that's wingspan.

1.80 is only a 25cc gas engine. That'll fly a 70" maybe. 80" no way.

OK, I have a YS 160 on it now and it flies great so for this airplane I will forget the gasser and put up with the slimmer. Thanks for the input.

Oh that's right. 1.80 is 30cc and 2.10 is 35cc. I don't mind being corrected. It makes me better. Thanks.

Joe,
The last post I did was a wing area conversion and I screwed that up by a decimal place. Hey as long as we have fun.

Is the plane H9 Sundowner F1? There is a video at youtube about smaller 50 sundowner flying with syssa 180 gasoline engine, but it just isn't enough for bigger version.

It is an Ohio Model Products profile fun fly airplane. I had a H9n Sundowner with a Moki 2.10 in it that flew well.
